Not for me at all!

"I was so excited to get a great deal on Lavender in October 2024 so I stocked up. 32oz worth . not realizing that the Lavender I had been using came from a different supplier before. When it arrived I took one whiff and realized I had made a terrible mistake. Too bad Flaming Candle doesn't do returns. I think this must be a bad batch because it smells almost like peppermint and strong cleaning product. Get a small sample to start if you haven't tried the scent!!!"

Do I have to use a base with these essential oils for air dry clay diffusers?
Hi Christine, we haven't used air dry clay diffusers but consider testing with our reed diffuser base. You can use straight essential or fragrance oil if that oil's IFRA shows no usage amount restrictions for that category.
Do you have a list that provides suggested mixing temps for you FOs? I am using C3 naturewax. If you do not have a full list what do you suggest mixing temp for lavender fo?
Hello, we suggest first testing based on the wax recommendations and adding fragrance at 160F-165F before adjusting.

You will then need to test for compatibility in your formulation and to ensure you achieve your optimal results. The scent is based on your personal preference -- you can add a sharper, brighter top note (citrus, lemon, mint) or a sweeter fragrance like vanilla to balance the floral musk.
Per a 4 oz. Bottle how much scent do you mix with the Linen/Room spray base?
Hi Lisa! We recommend 2% - 5% fragrance with this base. Simply multiple your 4 ounces by .02 to .05 (the 2% - 5% as a decimal) to calculate the amount of fragrance oil to use. Please check each fragrance's IFRA for the maximum safe usage amount to ensure you don't exceed the listed usage.
Can I use this in diffusers as well. Are there any Fragrances on the sight that you DO NOT reccommend for diffusers or can all of them be used?
Lavender fragrance oil can be used in a diffuser application at a maximum percentage of 5.38%. The composition and ingredients of each individual fragrance oil are different, so the recommended applications and usage percentages are specific to each oil.
