I've read to use the base at an 80/20 ratio. What about the IFRA guidelines (specifically for car diffusers)? If a FO has an IFRA score of 3.7% how would that work with the 80/20 ratio?: Hi Holly, you wouldn't exceed the IFRA usage rate. In general, abide by the lower when IFRA values and fragrance loads conflict.

I am going to be making some car diffusers and I was wondering if the 85/15 was a recommended usage? Can this be adjusted at all? Say 80/20 or 70/30? I have checked the IFRA on a few FO & they state maximum usage of 6%, 7%, 11% & 12%.
