Level: Intermediate
Yield: 3 Candles
Supplies:
- 51.2 oz Problend 650 Para-Soy Votive Wax
- Round Pillar Mold
- Tealight Cups
- Eco-0.75 1" Pre-Tabbed Wicks
- Wick Stickers
- Liquid Candle Dye
- 1.5 oz Spring Blossoms Fragrance Oil
- Paint Brushes
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare your round pillar mold. Thread a wick through the hole in the mold and seal the hole. Use a wick sticker to adhere a wick to each tea light.
Step 2: Weigh out 51.2 oz ProBlend 650 Para-Soy Votive Wax into a pouring pot. Melt and let cool to around 185F-200F. Add 1.5 oz of fragrance.
Step 3: Pour wax into pillar mold.
Step 4: Using the remaining wax, fill tea lights and add color as desired.
Step 5: Allow pillar candle to set before removing from mold. Allow tea lights to set.
Painting:
Step 1: Light tea lights and allow them to burn for a few minutes.
Step 2: Using a paintbrush, dip brush into melted wax and apply to pillar candle. Wax will cool almost immediately, so this must be done quickly.
Step 3: Create designs as desired, and allow to set. Clean up edges of design as needed after it has set.
