Step 5: Pour wax into pillar mold. If needed, poke relief holes and do a second pour. Secondpours should be poured 10° hotter than first pour.
Step 6: Allow the candle to set before removing from mold.
Step 7: Add about 2.5 pounds of the ProBlend 550 candle wax to your pouring pot. Melt wax and add 5-6 dye pale pink dye chips and a half of a black chip. You want to achieve a pink darker than the first color.Stir to blend the color.
Step 8: Allow the temperature of the wax to drop to about 150F. Hold the candle by the wick. You want to make sure you are holding the candle upside right. Dip it into the wax and allow the excess to drip off. Repeat a few times. Place the candle onto the wax paper and allow to set up.
Step 9: Remelt your wax. This time add a couple burgundy dye chips to the wax to make it darker. Once again, dip the candle in the same manner you did before.
Step 10: Remelt your wax one more time and add more burgundy dye. Dip the candle once more and allow it to set up.
Step 11: In a clean pouring pot, add about 2.5 pounds of candle wax. Also, add 5-6 black dye chips to achieve a black color. Stir.
Step 12: Allow the temperature to drop to 150F and dip the candle in the same manner. Allow the candle to set up.
Step 13: Trim the candle wick and place a warning label on the bottom.
